At Ontario Assets we enjoy working with people who are too busy building the important things in life: a connected family or working on their own businesses. Our clients, or technically “co-ventures”, are people who prefer the security of a physical asset rather than just a piece of paper and the unknowns of the stock or bond markets. They understand that solid real estate investing is not a get rich quick investment, but offers multiple income streams by way of cashflow, mortgage pay-down and appreciation; all while having the possibility of refinancing your money back out of the property without having to sell the asset!
In most co-ventures, the investor is looking to contribute cash towards the purchase price, or perhaps to qualify for the mortgage on the investment property, or even contribute to the renovation budget (since we often do renovations on a property to maximize everyone’s returns.) We work with our clients through various deal structures until we find what fits their situation best.
