STOP BUYING INTO THE IDEA OF “PASSIVE INCOME.”
You want to be on a beach in the Bahamas instead of your office job?
*The quickest way NOT to be on a beach in the Bahamas is to think that passive income exists.
*It’s a bad mindset.
*I think the reason so many scum-buckets are making so much money, is because many people are buying these stupid courses over and over, thinking there is some magic formula for passive income.
There are people that are ripping people off at the level of hundreds of millions of dollars a year, because they are selling this dream. They made a video with pretty girls and a beach or Lambo in the background and are selling people on spending $1000 or more on their bullshit course. It is breaking my heart.
Note: I’m not saying there is no such thing as good courses to take. I’m calling the courses that promise fortunes with no (or next to no) work complete bullshit.
Passive income doesn’t really exist. Anything that starts with “I don’t want to work”, is already a problem.
I have been in the investment real estate business for a long time and have accumulated a fair amount of property. The truth is, even though I delegate bookkeeping, renovations, property management, accounting, legal, etc….the reality is, it is still NOT a passive venture!
I understand you don’t want to work in an office doing something you are not passionate about. The best way to make money is to spend less money now. Spend just enough to still live. Invest the rest.
Everybody wants to make it the extreme of, I’m sitting in my job, I hate it, this sucks, all the way to the beach in the Bahamas. But there is a real in-between……this annoying thing called HARD WORK (and learning).
At night, when you are done with your J-O-B, that is paying for your life you live right now…
* You don’t take that money and buy 24 beers and watch the hockey game.
* Instead, put in the extra hours working on your own business (side hustle) or build a real estate portfolio.
* Invest your extra dollars, work your ass off, make a lot of personal sacrifices, and over 5 – 10 years, transition out of your job.
Stop thinking about the passive income myth and think about quickly building your skills, working harder & longer, making sacrifices – then, with time, that Bahama beach may become a reality. 👊
